Depends on what you're trying to run. Is it a game? or an old 16bit application? A batch file (.bat)? I'm not sure what exactly you're trying to run... and this may not be what you need or are looking for, but I have an app on my website that will allow (somewhat) 16bit apps to run "corectly" on an XP machine: http://www.jumpstationz.com/utility/ scroll down to the very last program.. and read to see if it's what you need (don't install it unless you need it )... Otherwise, without more details.. it's hard to trouble-shoot for you.. Telling us what you're trying to run or trying to do will definitely help us, help you
Jeremia Skywalk
No i am pretty sure it's about my comp- i am trying to run a game(but before launching it an 16 bit application appears and that is the proble, on my friends comp it ran, gave some error, when pressed ok it went noraly, so with several other games), but i realy dont have time to read what it says befori the program closes. Can it cause any harm to my comp if i install it and don't realy need it? Or if i unninstal/delete it will that be fixed? Thanks in advance! This is exactly why the app was created.. I needed it in order for my XP machine to run the original version of Diablo hehehe.. Note however, that it may or may nor work for all 16bit applications, it tends to do the job for running games and such.. It shouldn't hurt your system, and you can follow the link on my site to Microsoft's to see exactly "what was done" if you wish to research it
