Lagging during MP games - is there anyway to make game smooth?

Hi everyone,

 

On Feb 17th I got the game. Played on single couple hours (smooth graphics in 100%) but decided to go multiplayer since I think playing against another human is the essence of gaming :-)

 

Sofar I played like 30 games on multiplayer - 1vs, 2vs2 and 3vs3 (never made it in 4vs4 since always someone was not able to connect). I have encountered a number of small bugs but I can live with that... therer is one think though I dont know how to solve - lagging in the MP game. Whenever i play 1vs or 2vs the game never runs smoothly but it is kind of lagging - not very much but it's not the same as smooth multiplay in BFME.

 

So - I need help to solve this. Is it the matter of Gamespy, PC/network configuration or what?

 

To give you some information:

Internet 4Mbits through router - my PC is DMZed so no probs with ports.

Also Windows firewall has the game on the list.

The PC: Intel Pentium 4 670 (3.8GHz), GeFoce 7800, 1GB RAM.

Ingame all MP options are on.

Will appreciate your help.
