Forceware comparison?

Hello.

 

I remember an old topic on KOTOR1 in the bioware forums that had a nice list of a range of Forceware driver versions and how each of them performed ingame. Some driver versions had over 10fps increase if i remember correctly.

 

Just wondering if anyone has done something similair with KOTOR2, or does anyone know what that special driver version is that runs best with the game?

 

For the most part my game runs fine but there are a few places where it gets laggy and perhaps using an alternative and better driver version could assist with this.

In my exprience, FW 77.77 works the best with KotOR 2. However, as it's an older driver, it won't support a lot of new cards, most notably the 7-series and 6800 GS, along with the Quadro FX 4500's. The newest WHQL drivers (81.xx, I forget the exact version) seem to perform at near the performance level of the 77.77's with the KotOR I/II profiles.
