Program too big to fit in memory

This error message I don't understand. I installed GF, easily enough, but when I attempt to run the executable a command window opens with this error.

 

System:

A64 3200+, 1GB PC3200, GF 6600GT, WinXP Pro

Hmm, Athlon 64 problem. See my reply in this thread - it may shed some light on things. Assuming you've patched and tried Windows 98 compatibility mode, this could be another unfixable problem which only the ScummVM team are likely to be able to fix. I imagine there'll be more of these once Windows Vista rolls out. :~

 

Is there anyone else using a 64bit machine who could try it out and see if the game works for them?
