razorace
Unique1 has offered me some code that adds internet radio support to JKA. IE, jka would be able to play your fav shoutcast stations while you play. Is this something that people would be really interested in or should I just continue working gameplay/bugfix related stuff? RBitG
Uhm, personally, no. Sorry but i find that most raido stations play crap songs. :S However, i'm not against it as an optional thing.
JRHockney*
Sure. Why not. I'm not sure I'd use it, but it would be a cool feature and offer some good variety aside from the game music or CDs. I only wish I could have a few local Colorado actual stations on at the same time.
Vruki Salet
Please spend your OJP time doing something else. If we want the radio we can play it alongside the game in a different app, no? Still a nifty thing to be able to do it in theory though.

Kurgan
It's a fine idea, but wouldn't this add lag? You can already fire up winamp in the background or Qtracker and listen to your shoutcast stuff without doing it through JA. I'd much rather see bug fixes and stuff. razorace
Well, it's not running on the same communications connection as the game so as long as you have a fast connection, it shouldn't, in theory, affect your connection speed.
