Guest Zoom Rabbit
'Character is what you are in the dark!' Lucky rabbit's foot for whoever can tell me what movie that quote is from! Hint: it does have a samurai, sort of.
Guest Ike
I do know that Dwight L. Moody said it... "The adventures of Buckaroo Bonzai across the 8th dimension"? [This message has been edited by Ike (edited July 11, 2001).]

Guest Zoom Rabbit
'Don't be mean...there's never any reason to be mean. Remember; no matter where you go, there you are.' Buckaroo's da man! John Worfin has all the best lines, though. The character in the dark bit is his. I imitate him in the kitchen at work, calling addled busboys 'monkey-boys.' Note: this movie has been recently re-released on VHS. Look for it.

Guest Forceflow
There are so many awesome movies out there. I really couldn't pick the best one. Matrix is definetifely way up on the list though, that's sure. But so are the three original Star Wars movies and some of the Trek movies. The movie I am looking forward to the most is "Final Fantasy" right now though. (And no, I do not want to hear anything about it! I want to be able to finally see a movie again and be surprised at how it goes!) But there's more, some funny movies (Shrek, Emperor's new Groove to meantion some) action moives (The Mummy I and II for example) cult movies (The exorcist, now those people knew how to do a real horror movie!) And many more! ------------------ Murphy was an optimist! Webmaster of the X-Wing Alliance Upgrade Project

Guest Zoom Rabbit
The case for Buckaroo Banzai: 1. Pan-dimensional test flight of rocket car through mountain. 2. The Red Leptoids at Yoyodine Systems. 'John Smallberries.' 3. Has an armed rock band, an innovative idea whose time still hasn't come. 4. The Blue Blaze Irregulars. The fans are involved in the story! 5. Buckaroo plays with samurai swords. 6. No gay shiny robots. 7. 'Where are we going?' 'Planet Ten!' 'When are we going there?' 'Real soon!' 8. Space Jamaicans on the good side. 9. No addled Gungan space frog comedy relief. 10. Lastly, the ultimate seal of movie quality: a campy synthesizer soundtrack that was done on equipment purchased at Radio Shack. Yeah, Matrix was good. Star Wars, Highlander, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's nest, whatever. Only one can be the best movie, and it also happens to have John Lithgow's first portrayal of a crazed space alien. Nute Gunray
The Matrix wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't the best. That's because Dr Strangelove is the best. MEIN FUHRER! I HAVE A PLAN! I CAN WALK! Strangest ending line in a movie EVER.
