Guest Zoom Rabbit
Oh, it isn' worth that much. Yes, the ice cream melts. So will the spoon, eventually. In fact, even the ice cream eater will be gone someday... Zen moment: The ice cream was an illusion, in that it was a thing made of frozen cream, etc. Once it has melted, it has changed form and become something else. Likewise, the spoon is also an illusion, made up of steel molecules...and someday it, too, will be changed into something else, melted down or rusted away in a dump. The 'spoon' was nothing more than the shape the steel happened to be holding, see? Here's the zen. Apply it to the human being. Every cell that's in your body on the day you were born will be long dead by the time you your'self' die, as cells are constantly replenishing themselves. In that sense, you are an illusion...a human-shaped mass of self-replenishing cells, nothing more permanent than the age of the oldest cell in the body. ...Or are you? Contemplate this. The ice cream was delicious! Who wants cake?

Gold leader
I think me is more than a bunch of cells with suicide tendencies. I have thoughts and likings. Everybody has his/her own reality. Whether it is real or not, my reality is real enough for me. cogito ergo sum, you know. *time-warps back to the sixties*
