Nid Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 I recently tried to uninstall Grim Fandango due to lack of hard drive space. Seeing as there was no uninstaller i used Add Remove Programs (Windows XP) and preceded to uninstall from there. My game folder was previously 1 and bit gb so i thought i could save myself some disc space. However, when i uninstalled the game i found that my free hard drive space had not increased even though the game folder now only has 5mb in it. I deduced after reading the 1.1 patch read me that the problem was the .LAB files which it said had to be manually deleted. However, i cannot find these files anywhere on my computer using the windows search function. I have effectively lost 1gb of hard drive space and i woudl greatly appreciate it if someone coudl notify me of a solution if they know of one. Thanks, Nid
Thrik Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Have you emptied your recycle bin, and completely deleted the entire Grim Fandango folder?
Nid Posted April 16, 2006 Author Posted April 16, 2006 The recycle bin is empty and the game folder is only 3.47mb which includes some game saves and a couple of other files.
