Flying Beastie Posted July 26, 2001 Posted July 26, 2001 Damn it Skeletor, you beat me to it! I first heard that riddle in a Babylon 5 book, except that it started: "More powerful than a Vorlon Planet-killer, More frightening than a Shadow warship," ------------------ It's like I always say: When the going gets tough, the tough . . . switch to artillery.
Guest Rogue15 Posted July 27, 2001 Posted July 27, 2001 I heard this one b4. 4got the anser tho. ------------------ Sane people suck.
Darth Sceltor Posted July 27, 2001 Posted July 27, 2001 I only beat you by like nine hours. I'd heard it before, too. Rather good riddle if you've never heard it before, though.
Guest Zoom Rabbit Posted August 13, 2001 Posted August 13, 2001 Alternative answer: suffering. Almost. Can't quite get around that 'mightier' than God bit, but suffering does lead many to not believe in His existance. Why will you die if you 'eat suffering?' Well, suffering is one property of physical existance. As long as you are a spiritual being that thinks its a biological organism, you will never be satisfied with that existance. It falls short of our expectations. Another property of physical existance is dying. Here on this plane, nothing stays in one form without change; in a world of shifting forms, the human form can't stay together forever. What?
