Any moron can run with a ball. For the average american football player, running AND carrying a ball is considered as being multi-talented, not to mention avoiding other players. As the birthplace of buddhism and the current home of so many faiths from jainism to sikhism, all of which are more mystic in nature than the christianity which predominates England, it is a society where a large percentage of the population have at least some personal experience with what we would consider 'occult.' After all, the occult practices which are even today generally hidden in the west have been a part of mainstream religion in the east all along... Also, I would put forward the theory that the Tibetan people are the most advanced society in the world today when it comes to understanding mysticism and the occult. With the Chinese occupation of Tibet, most of the learned of that society have taken refuge in Nepal and--you guessed it--India. Besides, India has better cuisine.
