Dark line in middle of faces.

So I get an urge to play through KOTOR once again. Load it up, start playing. When I get to taris I noticed that Carth has a dark line in the middle of his face, only viewable at certain angles, I decide to ignore it, but then I realise Mission and Canderous have these problems too, and even my character does, although to a much lesser extent.

I got a Nvidia FX 5600, old card, but certainly enough to be able to play this game on high settings, and without graphical glitches. Any suggestions?

(BTW, I downloaded Forcware and still have these problems)

Don't "quote" me on this, but I believe that's the game's fault.. not your card's ;) Alot of players were having this problem and it still exists in TSL to some extent (mainly Atton)... it has to do with either the models seams.. or since because the skins are 'mirrored'.. there are sometimes a black seperation line where the 2 sides of the mirrored skin connect...

Without re-doing the model and/or the skin the only thing you could try would be to set your Antisoptric filtering higher.. though I'm not sure what impact it may have on your game since you're using an FX series nVidia card. Antisoptric filtering will raise the details of your skin & textures, but can result in a whopping FPS hit... AA (anti-aliasing) might help as well since it tends to 'blur' alot of visuals, effectively blending the seam together, but again... FPS hits may be noticeable..

Thanks for the reply. I didn't remember having this problem before... but I guess I was a lot more accepting of graphical issues a few years ago. I have Anti-Aliasing on X4, but can't set it on X6 and X8 makes everything look way too blurry. And Antisoptric filtering is already on X8...

Well thanks, again.
