yoba Posted July 15, 2006 Share Posted July 15, 2006 here's my first request: A "Powerful Death Vibroblade" I would like a kool looking vibroblade that has a constant stream of fire on the actual blade. second request: hooded robes, (gives you choice of wearing with or without hood, or 2 different pairs, 1 with hood 1 without, or an added hood as a "helmet") i don't want it like visas' hood, which everyone has done so far that i can tell, where it looks weird and come down really low.. looks flat and all, i want something more realistic that dioesnt come like a foot above the head before it comes to the eyes... third request: For the animation that your character (the exile) has for lightsaber "deployment" or watever.. i want him/her to make it come out like visas' does the first time, and not stand there in attack position, none of the jedi in the film are like that, and it should be easy for experienced modders, (it's the same as visas' or sion first do when you meet THEM (the 1st time) If you can't do/don't want to do the second one thats okay, i really just want the first and third ones. jonathan7 Posted July 15, 2006 Share Posted July 15, 2006 yo, have you had a look around the different mod websites? the sword, sounds abit like a mod created by chainz called the darksword, check out his website for that and other mods - http://www.jumpstationz.com/ theyre is already a hood fix out there, but with pcgame mods going down im not sure where you can get it, you couldnt check lucasfiles or filefront and see if they have it as for the lightsaber stance/egnition, im not quite sure what you mean? And the animation, I THINK you would just need to replace the one already there, with the one visas uses for the first time... you'd need too maybe come up with a picture or describe in abit more detail exactly what you mean? as my current understanding is the problem you have with regards the flame sword creation is melee weapons like that are quite specialised and require a fair bit of effort to make in terms of customised ones (its relativly easy to take the standard vibroblade/sword and add attributes but change the appearance slightly/not at all) im just learning how to use gmax (the software that modders use to create items) so i dont have anywhere the near the abitity to make the melee weapon you want (ive just done my first lighsaber handle) - but when i get onto modding robes, i will have a look see if i can do it, that will prolly be around 2 or 3 weeks if you can wait that long?if so, what kind of robes do you want the hood with and what colour do you want them?if not, one of the better more experianced modders may hava go if you ask real nice Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
yoba Posted July 17, 2006 Author Share Posted July 17, 2006 Well i was thinking for the sword.. that it's a blade that gets norrower near the end, then goes up... i'll create a picture for a starting basis ( i've always been talented with pixel work) so i can create a "fake" picture to help you out. For the hood, i would like it to go with Jedi knight robes/dark and light side and master jedi knight/ light and dark side (that is a total of 4 hoods), and more the style of the handmaidens hood, which looks more like a real hood. And i think i already explained the animation, but yeah. I'll get to work on that "fake" picture right away, and you can use a base Vibroblade to do it, but i would like it to be a unique sword, which i've heard is not hard once you have the model done.
