I'm guessing you're using the CD version, so you'll be browsing to your CD and then the Monkey1 folder and all should work from then on, it's pretty straight forward. But if you somehow got the floppy disc version, you need to install the game normally (installation instructions are in the instruction manual) and then use ScummVM to add a game and browse to where you installed the game.
