SithRevan
Hey guy's I am having a problem with making a new lightsaber with a unigue crystle and hilt color. The problem that I am having is that around the blade there a four black looking things and the hilt is semi-transparent. So if anybody could help me figure out what is going on I would be most appreciative, thanks! P.S.: I did not hex edit the model I used the mdlops replacer tool and also this lightsaber is for K1 not K2. So I just thought I would let you guys know that and thanks again for the help. T7nowhere
you need to make sure that when your making costom skins for weapons that you include the needed .txi files without these files no shaders will be used on the textures and what you describe will happen. Look up the defualt blade textures and double click them, in the texuture viewer there will be a white box that has the shader info you need. You can copy that info into notepad and save the file as yourtexturename.txi . Make sure it is saves as a .txi and not .txi.txt if it is just delete the .txt part. Next you will need to make a txi for the hilt texture open notepad and paste CM_Baremetal then save the file as yourtexturename.txi .
Mav
Next you will need to make a txi for the hilt texture open notepad and paste "envmaptexture CM_Baremetal" then save the file as yourtexturename.txi .I think that's what you meant T7, unless I'm worng and the "envmaptexture" isn't need, as I'm frequently wrong.
