Sw revenge of sith

but on http://www.pcsx2.net/ (official site of emulator) they say that game is soon will be ready for play.

Hmmm, fair enough. The sooner it's working, the better :) I'm not holding my breath though, they've been working on PS2 emulators for years. I'd have thought that if they could come up with a stable emu then they'd have done it by now.

I'd say that realistically, RotS won't be ported for the PC. Again, if it was going to happen it'd would have happened by now. Maybe if the game had been better received they might have rushed a port out, but I don't hear it getting a lot of good press. *shrugs*

What can you do?

Since we're on the tangent of emulators I have a quick question. I bought ChronoCross and I have a ps2. But the ps emulator in ps2 is really glitchy and the ps2's backwards compatibility is pretty much useless. Anyone know of a good ps emulator that will play CC? I've tried espxe and it blacks out in the overworld I think.

Look guys last night i ve finished SW battlefront 2.

It was last SW game which i ve played. All other i have finished in past.

They have they pluses and minuses. For example in "kotor2" i think was bad storyline.

In "Jedi knight's" series there are too many enemies using force...

In "Empire at war" land's battles was not so great thatt all of us want.

But what am i about ?

The only one game which i want to play but cant is "Star Wars ep3 Revenge of the sith"

This game doesnt aviable for PC.

But today i've downloaded SonyPlaystation2 Emulator from http://www.pcsx2.net

It is about 4mb. But i cant find disc with "SW ROTS" SO MAYBE WHO HAS THE DISC DOWNLOAD IT

and test it. ( Guys from http://www.pcsx2.net give to the game rang:ingame) it is the last step

before game become total playable. But it will happen only when they release new emulator.

And this is happen only in 2007 (may be in the end of 2006).

Maybe we can to do the game playable with our forces....

So i repeat : PLEASE someone who has the disc DOWNLOAD emulator and tell us what wrong with the game.

(who decide to do this can find on http://www.pcsx2.net many plugins and tutorials on different languages how to use this emulator)

released about 30 months ago... Last kotor was in the end of 2005 BUT We must understand that

if even LucasArts anounced new kotor TOMMOROW it will be finished only in 2008...

Yes i have forgot about LEGO STAR WARS but it isnt my favourite one.

Yeah, people are here. I have the game, but frankly don't really want to (or need to) download an emulator I will never use to figure out a problem that I don't have, nor have the ability to solve (seeing as we are not involved with developing the emulator).

Looking briefly at their forums, shall I assume that you are poster SSS234? If so, then you already have the answers to your questions, and if not, have a look over there. Clearly, people here are not going to get the thing working it before they do. We do not have the means or the motive to do so.

To summarize the (multiple) responses over there: WAIT

Is this supposed to be in the JA forum?

Back to topic:

I don't think so, honestly. If LA wanted to port it, they would have done so, or announced the idea already. From what I can see, they have their hands full with SW2007 and some other other tit-bits. Sorry to burst your bubble. :)

  • 3 weeks later...

I played the ROTS game on the PS2 when it first came out, only took me 24 hours to beat, and in my opinion there are much better Star Wars games on the PC.

(I could go on about it's flaws, but I won't)

So I think porting that game wouldn't be a very wise move from Lucasarts.
