Kainzorus Prime
It's not a real problem. The game simply have to either use different head or don't use head at all (in case of unique npc's) to prevent gemini effect (npc and pc with same head)
goldberry
Um... going way off topic here, but your sig is far too big. (EDIT: And, if i'm looking at it right, kind of sexual to boot) Back on topic, DK is entirely correct (as is often so ), this isn't something that can be fixed because it is not broken. KSE is essensially cheating and this causes discrepancies in play. If you wanted a different head, you should have chosen a different one at the start and so any problems you get as a result of this can't be considered a bug. Just my 2 cents. (2 pence in reality, but lets not go there.)
stoffe
Check in the backuphead column in appearance.2da for the appearance you change to. If the value here is set to **** then the other character will become headless. The game automatically uses the head set in the backuphead column instead of the normalhead column (like it usually does) whenever an NPC has the same appearance type as the main character. This is done to ensure you don't run into a clone of your main character while playing, since some NPCs use the choosable player appearance types. To avoid losing their head you'll need to set another value (line number from heads.2da) in the backuphead column for those appearances.
