The iPod was a rip-off of the walkman. Beat that.

No it's not

In an iPod, the batteries fry after a specific amount of time and you have to get a whole new iPod.

In a CD player, you can keep one for pretty much your whole life provided you have the batteries and CDs.

I was actually making the point that both play music, both have volume controls, and both allow you to fast-forward/skip tracks. I was not talking technically. They're both music players.

While I am pretty appalled that Vista doesn't support Vista, the report didn't state that they were not going to bring out a patch; it would be suicidal for Vista to not to be compatible with the Zune, and it seems to me it's quite obvious that a patch will come out for the Zune by the time Vista goes out on retail. Don't get me wrong, I hate it when companies think you you download patches because their initial products are broken/lacking in features, but it's not like it will never work with Vista.
