Yes when you build one you will have a colored crystal from the quest you were sent on for the crystals. If you want an optional color check your local Bazaar or you vendor shops as there are options. I have a Red 2 handed sabre and a Yellow double bladed sabre. I switch on and off depending on my mood. I usually hunt rebels with the sith sabre, hehehe.
