hello, i know that pcgamemods.com is down, and i wanted some mace windu skins, but i'm sad that pcgamemods.com is down, if you have any direct links for mace or other skins, post them here in this Thread.

sorry, but that link was for the jedi outcast version of mace windu, i want a jedi academy one, not for JK2, but JKA!

i just had downloaded the JO Mace Windu ''ctwindu1_1.zip'' from jediknight2.filefront.com and put it in the jedi academy base dir, model works, but sounds isn't working? any help?

Yeah, that's one of the aspects that doesn't translate. You have to modify the sounds.cfg file (opened in Text Editor). Inside, clear what's written and type the name of the folder inside the sound folder of the pk3. Press enter to go to the next line, and type "m". Then re-save the cfg and replace the old one.

 

But if I were you, I'd just go for Omeewan's skin. It looks pretty good, and it's for JA.

Skye, could you show me an example of an JO model's sound .cfg file & what infomation i need to clear?

The way it is now, the cfg file reads as follows:

 

chars/ct_windu/misc

 

It needs to read:

 

ct_windu
m

 

(I think).

not working with the ''m'', just clear the ''chars/ct_windu/misc'' and replace with ct_windu but do not put the extra line with the ''m'' then save and put it back into it's pk3 and it will work with every JO model file.
