I cant enter Dantooine in KotOR 2

I've traveled to Dantooine once in my game, and I got a cut scene soon as I left the ship. A woman noticed my lightsaber, we talked, but then I re-boarded to do some stuff at the work bench. Now I cant leave the ship on Dantooine, all I get is a blank black screen and I cant open the menu. I can alt + f4 to exit before it crashes though.

 

Can anyone help me? This is also my second file and I've beaten Dantooine once already with the other.

More than likely what your gonna have to do is start a new game... it's a probably a glitch, or load a save game from an earlier time...

However, the ideal would be to load a save game from prior to your arrival on Dantoine. Always make sure you keep more than one savegame. Ideally save before entering into a new area to avoid problems.

I dont have a save file from then...

 

Maybe I could change some values to make the game think I've never gone to Dantooine? I have the KotOR Savegame Editor.

Not ideal but better than nothing

 

For the future,I do recommend you to keep a rotation of at least 4-5 saves (and not all in the same module/planet).

I've also noticed while still on the hawk, right after I land I don't hear any extra sound effects. I swing my lightsabers and I hear nothing, once I talk with someone they come back. Curious.
