Manaan Court Trial

Alright, I'm playin KOTOR and Manaan is my first planet.

 

I got the star map and now went on trial for my actions.

 

I lost the trial and now I am banned from Manaan.

 

My question is:

 

Is there any way not to get banned from Manaan?

Yes, there is, but only if you do not poison the Giant Firaxan shark. You have to blow up the harvesting machine and the Selkath will thank you for saving the beast. I think that's how it goes, because that's how I always do it.

I killed the giant firaxan shark once, and I somehow was not banished from Manaan. I think it was my last planet, and my persuasive skills were maximum. And I guess you have to tell the Selkath what they want to hear... or read, in this game. ^-^

Only by reloading an earlier save game. Once you poison the firaxa, you're toast on Manaan.

There is a way to poison the Giant Firaxa WITHOUT getting banished from Manaan. There is one way. No more.

But is there anyway to remove the ban by modding? Using PC version.

There is a mod called Manaan Fish Fest which allows you to avoid dealing with the court at all. When you are confronted by the guards you kill them and are able to skip the trial cutscenes (both times) and should be able to get back to Manaan (though they may charge you 500 credits to reenter --don't recall exactly). The mod does a little more than that, but that was what was relevant to your question. In essence, you should be able to AVOID the ban, not necessarily remove it.
