The Doctor
Last week, my Music teacher gave the senior class an assignment to work on over the break. We need to arrange a Bach Chorale for a 'full' band (ie basic brass, woodwind, and percussion), then conduct one of the grade 9 classes in the piece. In order to work on the project over the break, she lent me the installation disc for Finale 2003, a program that lets me assemble musical scores and the like. I've been tinkering with Finale for the past week, trying to learn my way around in it - being more familiar with Sibelius 3, myself. Finale is quite different. I've managed to work out the basics of it, and assembled a small arrangment of a Michael Card song (without the lyrics, of course). Here is a link to my arrangement of Michael Card's Chorus of Faith. What do you guys think? EDIT: Yes, I'm aware that this isn't a Bach Chorale. I'm procrastinating, alright?
Char Ell
I'm not a musician but it sounds good to me. I'm guessing Bach is a little more involved on the composition side than this piece though.
