Several thousand solar systems have declared their intentions to leave the Republic. This separatist movement, under the leadership of the mysterious Count Dooku, has made it difficult for the limited number of Jedi Knights to maintain peace and order in the galaxy. Senator Amidala, the former Queen of Naboo, is returning to the Galactic Senate to vote on the critical issue of creating an ARMY OF THE REPUBLIC to assist the overwhelmed Jedi.... --------------------------------------------------------------------------- You can be anyone you want, from this time period, even make up a new character if you wish it. They freed him, and took him to Courscant, where Qui-Gon requested to take Anakin as an apprentice, the Council denied his request, as Anakin was much older than the other beggining intiates. Qui-Gon defying the Council, showed Anakin a few Force Techniqes, but soon died at the hands of the Sith Lord, Darth Maul. In Qui-Gon's waning time, he requested the Obi-wan train Anakin, believing him to be the Chosen One.
