Ok, yes I've read the sticky.

Yes, I've downloaded Miles sound tools.

YES, I'm having problems.

Every time I click "Decompress" it starts whining about me needing a codec..... WTF? I never had this problem when I converted my Kotor 1 music.........

Help?

Well i dont use miles sound tools for encoding audio files i use nero start smart which is what i used to encode the K2 music and you can also use start smart to improve the quality of the music, a trial can be found here: http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_download/fid,7565-order,3-page,1-c,cdromutilities/download.html

I say its better to use, and there is'nt many applications out there that support the K2 music! :)

Hmmmm, I'll try both methods.

I got the tracks I want backed up on my AW flashdrive so I'm all good as far as being insured is concerned.

BTW, Inyri is correct all I want to do is listen to the music.

Oh and if you didn't guess from the title, I'm trying to listen to the music from here: http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/file/Music_Update_Patch;52024

Oh, and the Nero install exe is corrupt. I can't run it.

Edit: Well, that did it. Thanks for the help everyone, but it turns out the simplest solution was the correct one (the renaming).

:)

  • 2 weeks later...

plan and simple find away to install nero. The Nero Wave Editor can do it all, listen/edit enjoy!!! lol GL try bit torrents or some other form of file transfer if the official demo won't install for ya! G.L

BTW, the bit torrent comment in no way supports any illegal downloads. Bit torrents can be used to help transfer legit stuff as well!!! like Nero Demos! :p
