darthriddick Posted January 16, 2007 Share Posted January 16, 2007 i just got EAW a couple of weeks ago, and (as with Any game i get) i started trying to mod it. ^_* i've run up against problems with even the most basic stuff, suchas changing the XML files. i have read the short tutorial for XML modding, but nothing i do seems to affect the game! example: slave 1. changed <Tactical_Health>450</Tactical_Health> to 1000 changed <Shield_Points>150</Shield_Points> to 1000 changed <Shield_Refresh_Rate>15</Shield_Refresh_Rate> to 400 changed <Max_Speed>5.5</Max_Speed> to 9.9 so i changed all that, and then saved it and added it to the mods folder, in the game folder (i have all the patches) but when i started my game, the only things that changed were, the health and sheilds, and the didn't seem to change much..... i tryed it again, and changed the health 999999 started plying again, and it still didn't work! *sob* could someone help me with this?? PLEASE????? i had another question on top of this however...sorry. how do you change the rate of fire, and the damage delt by weapons in the game? in other games like this one that i'v modded, there is usually a line that says something like <Rate_Of_Fire>25</Rate_Of_Fire> or what ever, but i can't find anything like that here! sorry for being such a noob....usually i'd figure this stuff out for myself, but i really want to start playing the game! thnx DR P.S. sorry one more thing, is it possable to add mods together? so that i can play the game with ALL the mods i really like, instead of having to click an extention for each different mod? thanks again ~DR Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

XD i just downloaded LOW SSD...and it's really really boring.... my SSd was destroyed byt 4 bombers squadrn's and home one. and the game was set on easy... I MEEN COME ON!!! I DOWNLOAD THE SSD SO THAT I CAN WHOOP A*S WITHOUT TRYING!!!!!! gahhhh! so anyway, i want to figure out how increase the rate of fire for theSSD, and increase the damage delt by the SSD. thnx!
