ADDING personalized tags?

i was wondering if it is possible to create a mod that will allow you to add personalized tags or "names" to solders.

 

so that i could name a stormtrooper in a squad "Dema Fantaa", and one "Jack fracol" or something similar.

 

in an older starwars game, (i think it was called field commander, or something),it had that option avalible, and i really liked it. It allowed for more personalized game play, and created a more realistic game play experience.

 

if anyone knows how to do this please let me know!

ah wait i figured out something.

i Could name different squads, just not the solders within the squads.

 

and naming different squads would be kinda hard.

....you could just use the old ship name method by adding stormtrooper in and creating a text file with squad names...........
