Saving the Galaxy From The Force (While Avoiding Colatteral Damage In Process)

Not that I really hate her, but she IS morally complex. She does what she does because she sees the force as oppressive and manpulating, and she wants to free the galaxy from its influence.

Commendable.

The lengths she is willing to go to and the means she is prepared to use, however, undermine her goals due to the moral implications. So her actions cannot be condoned, even if her ideals are worthwhile. I felt sympathy at her cause at the same time as if felt disgust over her methods. That's what writing a good character is all about.

This above quote talks about Kreia, and I agree with it totally...except with the talking of Kreia's moral implications. It seems as though that what she is doing is wrong, and that put in doubt her crusade. She is, after all, a Sith Lord, and a splendid liar.

But, the Force is something to fear, something to condemen...Jediphile made that point. But...er...well, he also condemens Kreia for what she is doing to stop it.

So, here is a question: Kreia is wrong, but so is the Force. How do you destroy the Force without harming any civilians or doing any bad deeds?

My answer is that you cannot, and that answer is what makes K2 so effective as a very Nihlistic piece of work...the only way to destroy evil is to be evil. But if someone can come up with a way to destroy the Force without having to do what Kreia done, then speak up. Any way to smash the Force must be good, at least to some people...

And, no, Darth Nihlius does not count for destroying the Force, due to the lots of colletral damage he would cause. :)

I basically agree, but why exactly is the force "wrong"?

Besides Kreia, who has the idea that the force forces its will on everyone?

It is obvious that there is no such thing as luck and so on, but ultimately, everyone forges his own path.

Kreia acts on her motives, but actually she got no evidence to back her claims up, even her own words were something like "Because the force SEEMS to have a will of its own". At the same time, you as the player can choose your path, be it light or dark. That alone is evidence enough that it is you who makes the decision, not the force.

Kreia is misguided and causes a lot of harm. Her intention is NOT good, it is selfish. It seems like she's the enlighted one who realized what is wrong... and acts on that without consulting others.

The only good of her actions is the one that led to Nihilus' death.

Well, you are an wound in the Force, so you are immune from the Force's will (and thereby able to choose between LS and DS) and you are the one that contorls it. Even Revan, our character in K1, could have been contorlled by the the Force to start up the JCW to defend against the True Sith, as well as contorlled by the Force to be recalled from the galaxy to fight the True Sith again.

I guess it's really down to personal opinon, but I do get your point.
