If you have that utility installed just doubleclick the 7z file to open it and drag the files from the archive to somewhere on your harddrive to extract them. Then either move the extracted files into the correct folders in the game folder (the readme files should contain instructions for what should go where), or run the mod installer if one is included. nhswrestler
the only thing that moves is the readme file everything else dosnt go in or if i try to run the install prog it says cant locat thechanges.ini file make sure it in the same folder and it is
Kristy Kistic
If your using 7zip and the archive is open, select (highlight) all the files & folders and hit the extract button at the top. Otherwise just highlight the archive and hit the extract button. When the extract dialog opens make sure you select Current pathnames under Path Mode. If all the files come out in the same folder with no subfolder (named tslpatchdata) then the installer won't work. Personally I find it a whole lot easier to use WinRAR to extract 7zip files. I just use 7zip to compress them.

nhswrestler
there is a subfolder but the installer still dont work i can extract the files but what happens if i dont run the installer
Kristy Kistic
If you don't run the installer you'll have to read the changes.ini file and install the mod manually. Unless your an experienced modder I don't think you want to do this. What error is the installer giving you? If your changes.ini file and the installer are in the same folder your doing it wrong. The changes.ini should be in a subfolder named tslpatchdata (along with all the files the installer will install). This is the reason you have to extract it using relative paths. Once its extracted don't move any files - just run the installer.
nhswrestler
i have extracted it but the installer says it cannot locate the changes.ini file with work instructions and it is in the tslpatchdata subfolder and then it says unable to locate the intructions text make sure that the tslpatchdata folder containing info.rtf is located in the same folder as this one which it is and then it brings up the tlk/2da/gff patcher but it is completely blank
