I was wondering how i can create a light that is falling through pillars as in the ceremony hall at the yavin academy sp map. I know it's necessary to create a brush and a certain texture. architect Posted March 30, 2007 Author Share Posted March 30, 2007 aah got it. someone gave the hint at another thread. the texture is common/gradient. I'm a little disappointed though. acdcfanbill Posted March 30, 2007 Share Posted March 30, 2007 well, you should have a shader that uses the gradient texture, and not just the gradient itself. altering this shader or writing your own might provide an effect closer to what you envisioned.
