Loading dll file cgame. Shutting down OpenGL subsystem Requested feature was omitted at compile time ____________________________________________ ____________________________________________ ____________________________________________ The only thing i can see that would do this is the part that ive highlighted in bold. You could also try making a .cfg file that sets the name but I think it'll replace whatever name the person is trying to set with the default name every time . Oh, and before these posts gets moved, deleted or whatnot, let me tell you that I meant the default name, the same way as models/players/kyle is the default model, Padawan is the default name. That little piece you mentioned only messes with the name when the client tries to enter a blank name, not when the jampconfig.cfg gets deleted/reset. Maybe the one you use is doing some naughty things that JKA doesn't like. I recommend PakScape. It's free, easy to use, and can be found here A couple things I would suggest adding to your map, though, is by the top-level of that elevator, adding a key that activates the elevator, so that you can access it from up there too. Good Luck hmm wierd, i use pakscape aswell. oh well ill just have to experiment. and yes, i tried adding an elevator switch but it all went wierd on me and i couldnt get it to work how i wanted. anywayz i tried a whole lot of diff switch configurations to make it work how i wanted but radiant ended up going all wierd on me. lol i spent 3 hours on the switches alone and then by the end of it i was back where i started XD but im gonna have another go at it soon. ok thanks everyone Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SMoKE Posted April 11, 2007 Share Posted April 11, 2007 If it's still acting weird, and preventing you from testing the BSP file, try: Cleaning up your Base folder (by putting all other files than your pk3, and the assets#.pk3's in a folder elsewhere), so you're running 100% BaseJKA, plus your map. Then try again. If the error keeps popping up, you can safely put all the other stuff back in Base. And could you upload the PK3 for us, too (if the error's still there)?
