SilentScope001
Hello, I think there are a lot of good programmers here and I hope you can help me out with a problem. You see, I just loaded up some MMORPG engine, with the intent of creating an MMORPG for the Model UN club, to test to see if profits could be made. The problem is that it requires MySql. And my computer is not good, not good at all in installing MySql or getting it to work. And I doubt my club would be able to find anyone good in MySql. But I realize that they need it to generate an empty "database", so that the game engine can fill in the data. So, prehaps, if anyone here wants to and if they have "MySql", they can hand me over a blank database, with a server name, a username, and a password (and instructions to change the username and passwords, if it is at all possible). Hopefully, this would work and I'll be able to finally get this MMORPG engine off the ground. If you have one, can you send it to me via email? Just go and PM me that you have it, and I'll send you my email. Alternatively, you can leave it as a download link here and I can download it and get the MMORPG engine working. Thanks for all who read this and can help me.
Ray Jones
Err. You seem not to know that you need a MySQL Server to actually have a MySQL Database running (read: so you can use it)? So sending you a MySQL-DB wouldn't do to much for you, I'm afraid. Basically you need a MySQL-Server (running on your computer), which you can connect to and get access to a database on that Server. I don't know what your computer-specs are, but MySQL is not too hungry when it comes to resources, so you might try to install it because you simply must. MySQL.com offers everything you need, and it's free, so c'mon take a ride.
