Mastommoth
After landing on Nar Shaddaa (whether this has any significance or not is unknown), every time I try to break down items into components using a work bench, I only get one component, no matter the item or the character's skill level. Can anyone help me?
Mastommoth
Never mind. I played through the story and the problem was resolved at some point.
Jae Onasi
The number of components you can get from an item is dependent on your repair skill. I usually switch to the person with the highest repair skill (usually Bao-Dur early in the game) to break down items.
Mastommoth
That's what I'd meant; the work benches were doing this for everyone, no matter what their repair skill was, and it'd never done that before. Anyway, it was nothing more than a minor inconvenience, as once the work benches started working properly again it'd never occurred a second time, and I was able to finish the game without any problems. Thanks for the reply, though.
Marauder's Fury
Um, correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the number of components you get from breaking items depend on the Exile's skill in Repair, no matter who actually is using the workbench? Mastommoth
I'll be damned, you're right; I just checked a guide. Still, my Exile had a decent skill level in Repair and had been breaking down items just fine until that'd happened.
