Westwood Studios announced today that Command & Conquer

Yuri’s Revenge, will ship in North America October 9th, and should

be fully distributed in North America by October 12th.

Yuri’s Revenge is the largest expansion in Westwood’s history,

adding to the real-time strategy game new Allied and Soviet units, two

single-player campaigns, multiplayer features, co-operative

campaigns, an hour of filmed story sequences, and an entirely new

side: an army lead by the mysterious psychic warrior, Yuri.

In the original Red Alert 2, Yuri was a controllable unit on the Soviet

side. For the expansion, Yuri breaks from the Soviets and launches his

own bid for world domination through psychic technology. Players will

take command of a time-traveling task force and go back in time to

unravel Yuri’s evil plot.

“With Yuri’s Revenge, we wanted to give the fans more of the

addictive and fast-paced gameplay they loved in Red Alert 2,” said

Mark Skaggs, executive producer of Yuri’s Revenge. “Yuri’s

Revenge is a hugely ambitious expansion to an wildly successful

product and we are excited about getting it out to the public.”

Yuri’s Revenge will feature multiplay over a Local Area Network and

over the Internet through Westwood Online. Players can engage in

fierce combat with each other or team up to play through the 10

co-op missions. Yuri’s Revenge will also have it’s own dedicated

tournament and ladder system that will rank players worldwide and

allow them to keep track of their victories and defeats against other

Internet gamers. Gamers can order Yuri’s Revenge online at EA Store

or call toll free at 877-EA GAMES (877-324-2637). Yuri’s Revenge

can also be ordered from Babbage’s at GameStop and from

Electronics Boutique at EB WOrld.

You can post about it but do it in the right forum. It goes in the Off-Topic forum not the GB forum. It'd not about Galactic Battlegrounds.
