kotor 1 and 2 movement problem

ive seen this problem come up in the past 6 or so pages, but no one ever gave a real answer

 

my game works great, no lag whatsoever but the main charecter stops moving after battles(sometimes, but pretty often)

the wierd thing is that other charecters can move fine, but if my main char. is alone then my game is doomed

i checked the troubleshooting guide and the internet but have found no answer, please help me

Are you using a wireless keyboard/mouse? Just curious...

 

Can you still access the save menu? Can you simply do a save/load new save? That has fixed this problem for me in the past. For some reason, this behavior stopped a while ago, odd but nice :shrug:

i am using a wireless mouse, but the mouse functions during this problem

save/load works, but i really want to get rid of this thing because in tsl ive frozen after every single battle

I've come across this problem b4. Though I dont have a solution for it, you should be able too move around by holding both right and left mouse buttons. Sorry I dont got a better answer.

i tried the left and righ mouse buttons, hasnt worked yet

It's odd, isn't it?

 

I had this exact same problem, and I attributed it to my Logitech Bluetooth wireless combo... but then it stopped being an issue.

 

As trying as it is, the only way I could work it out was switching to another party member and leaving the area... when you warp to a new area, your PC movement will be restored. (will not work for K1)

 

As for the real "issue" here - I haven't a clue what is really at fault. I had noticed before when I first experienced this problem, plugging in the old USB's did solve the problem.
