The Unbeholden
I was playing recently and found that i could not step onto a tiny ledge thats only knee high. I cant ledge grab cause its only for falling down, i cant jump onto it even though its so tiny that i can just climb over. We should increase normal jump height so i don't have to buy force jump just to get on a ledge thats knee high which in real life can easily be climbed over. this is the same for crates as well which i'm sure you've all noticed. [Alpha]-0mega-
I'd say the biggest problem is wasting 10 force for that little knee height step =p Just imagine a jedi going up a set of stairs made of these ''just a TINY bit too high'' blocks. need to rest every 10 steps.. lol
The Unbeholden
yer... then i think instead of jumping there should be like a climb over animation when you move into the crate or ledge. So this would dramatically increase maneuverability, as you would be able to climb up onto ledges as long as your hands can reach... this is putting the ledge grab idea next step forward. Maxstate
How about just jumping on it and wasting 10 FP, you waste 10 FP if you jump to ledge grab something either way. If you need to jump everytime you could just do a force jump and jump 5-6 steps at once?
The Unbeholden
hmmm. yer ok... i think its a bit of a pain to code a climb animation.. just increase normal jump height which is easier or do the climb animation either way which evers better or more convenient
