SithRevan
.:Trayus Academy Clothing Fix v2.0 (TAC-F v2.0):. As you all may or may not remember on 8.4.06 last year I released a mod called the "Trayus Academy Clothing Fix" which was in my opinion one of my finest mods. It changed the way you perceived the characters in those three levels, 903MAL, 905MAL, and 906MAL. That I why I am very pleased to announce that I have released the "Trayus Academy Clothing Fix v2.0" modification or (TAC-F v2.0 for short.) This modification unlike my last is more detailed and more robust because of the fact I have much more experience in module editing an overall modding then I did then. Now as you may have guessed this modification is very different from the last. The last just changed the clothing of the Sith Marauders, Lords, and Apprentices, this one however changes everything. This one changes the Sith Marauders, Lords, Apprentices, and Assassins clothing and appearances to make them look more like an individual then a copy of another character that you would see over and over and over... well you get my point. This also makes it so them look more like the are aligned with the Darkside instead of looking like a regular civilian with a Dark Jedi's Robe or Armor on. This mod does some small things that you probably will not notice right away when you play the module for the first time one being the character's head models, they will probably look very suspiciously familiar to you... and they should, they are the PC head models. I made over 20 new appearances for the characters that all use the head models of the PC's so they can look more individual and can DS transition so they look like they actually are on the Darkside. So to wrap up this lecture I would like to first say thank you to Stoffe for giving me the help she gave me with the TSLPatcher. I could not have done it without her expertise. I would also like to say that this is an anniversary of sorts for myself considering that this was the forth mod I had ever put out. I would also like to tell you to enjoy... but I think you will do that already. So cheers! .:A KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC II: (THE SITH LORDS) MODIFICATION:. -Author- SithRevan -Email- Download the mod to find my email... -Name- Trayus Academy Clothing Fix 2.0 (TAC-F 2.0) -Credits- SithRevan -Special Thanks- To Stoffe at Holowan Labs for the TSLPatcher program help. I couldn't have done this without her skill. Thanks Stoffe! -File Name- TAC-Fv20.zip -File Size- 10.2MB -Release Date- 8.4.07 -Description- This is, like I promised when I put out the first one, the second version of the Trayus Academy Clothing Fix (TAC-F for short.) This new version of TAC-F has some pretty interesting stuff, one being the new way this mod installs itself, and the new appearences for all of the characters in the levels. It also features some new clothing for the Sith Murauders in each level giving them that little push to make them look like the ultimate Sith Masters. I have also established a kind of hierarchy within the module so it looks like the characters aren't just randomly being clothed. There are also smaller things that I have done like adding in a new module, 902MAL, which changes the way the Sith Assassains look and stuff like changing the "GoodEvil" value in the character files so they all have a DS appearence to them. You also may notice as you go through the level the heads on the characters look suspiciously firmiliar and that is because they are. I have put over 20 new different appearences in the appearence.2da file to bring you characters that don't only look individule but actually are individule. -Installation- *WARNING: This is not an easy mod to install and you must follow these directions to the letter!* First what you need to do is go into your Modules folder, which usually is located at "C:\Program Files\LucasArts\SWKotOR2\Modules" and find these following files... :Files: 902MAL.rim 902MAL_dlg.erf 902MAL_s.rim 903MAL.rim 903MAL_dlg.erf 903MAL_s.rim 905MAL.rim 905MAL_dlg.erf 905MAL_s.rim 906MAL.rim 906MAL_dlg.erf 906MAL_s.rim Once you have found them you will need to either rename them or *MOVE* them to a safe location elsewhere in your computer. Make sure to *NOT* delete them. After those files are moved or renamed you will need to double-click the "Setup" program that has been enclosed in this .zip file. After you have double-clcik the Setup program a screen should pop-up, click "Install Mod" and let it install the mod. Now you can breathe easy... you just installed it. -Comments- This was a very fun mod to take and make a second version of. I have learned a lot since I put out the first one and I know I have sucessfully applied that year of knowledge to this mod in order to make it better a much more detailed then the last. Also, this is an anniversery mod, I did this exactly a year ago today so I can definitely say I am very proud of this and myself. -Bugs- None really, the only one that I encountered which I am pretty sure I fixed was where a couple of the male apprentices were just not DS transitioning at all. Like I said though I am pretty confident I fixed that. If you see that or any other bug though just give me an email and I will take a look at it. -Permissions- I don't care where you put this or how you use this as long as I get some credit for initially doing it and the people who helped me get credit. Also if you could give me and email before using it in your mod I would really apprecite it. Thanks and enjoy! -Disclaimer- THIS MODIFICATION IS PROVIDED AS-IS AND IS NOT SUPPORTED BY BIOWARE/OBSIDIAN ENTERTAINMENT OR LUCASARTS OR ANY LICENSERS/SPONSORS OF THE MENTIONED COMPANIES.
