Negative Sun
I finally got my behind round to buying the full Civil War graphic novel, and I have to say: I'm bloody impressed! For those who don't know what I'm talking about. I did find Spider-Man's decisions a bit out of character though, I mean his first move took balls (to reveal his identity), but then I thought, at least now he'll get paid n stuff for doing that, which was always a major issue for Parker as it would allow him to stop working for Jameson...But then he turns to Cap's side? wtf? Even after what happened to Goliath I find this to be a very strange move from him, as he's burned waaay too many bridges that way It's a shame the X-Men aren't in it as much, but I suppose they've had House of M and Decimation already... Has anyone been reading the Initiative storyline?
Jeff
I haven't read the graphic novel but I've been getting Amazing Spider-man so I have all the Civil War comics for that series. I wasn't a huge fan of the storyline and I agree with you about Spider-man but hey what can you do. I still enjoy reading them. I just picked up 541 and 542 today in fact. Balderdash
The ending was a little bit disappointing... except for... The Thor clone's head getting split in half And Spider-Man's story felt like they were railroading him into any possible reason for wearing the black costume in time for the movie to come out. Negative Sun
The whole Thor clone was a bit silly IMO, I'm gonna read it again anyways, but I fail to see the point in spending all that time and money on a stupid Thor clone that gets killed so easily near the end anyways, what were Reed and Stark trying to accomplish by this? Is Amazing Spider-Man good after the Civil War storyline Moeller? Cause I can imagine that it caused quite a commotion for his way of life etc... I read that Jameson fired Parker and is suing him for fraud or somehing...Sounds promising lolz
