Guest ZeroXcape Posted August 3, 2001 Share Posted August 3, 2001 So everyone knows, here is a little information about what is going on around the site: FORUMS ------ 1) I will be talking with both murta and NFGB this week about new possible moderators. 2) murta is going to be bumped to admin. 3) I'm working on a great new look for the forums. You guys should really love all the new features when it comes out SITE ---- 1) I've been working, by myself, on totally upgrading the site. It's coming along, but we have around 200 .HTML files to convert over. While I am working, its a slow processs - so hopefully I can be finished by the time I head to school. 2) If anyone is interested in posting news, we have ONE position open. We can have 50 if we want to. - Avatars: little 70x70 images that go under your name. - Private messaging: you can send a little message to anyone at any time. - Imporved look: basically, the look will be much smoother. - Cookied logins: You don't have to ever type in your login / password again if you choose not to. - Better "Who's Online?" system. - MUCH faster: Since the new boards use PHP and mySQL, you can search in seconds and blaze through the posts. - Tons of extra little funtions: everything from simly faces to spell check. Overall, the new boards should be great. I'll give everyone a sneak peek coming soon.
