Wildstar
One of the former Black Knights has made me aware of the existence of some old files from CompuServe's FSCOMBAT forum. They are mostly mission files for TIE Fighter, but there are a couple of files of historical significance: tmb.zip (the classic TIE Mission Builder for DOS) and whitexvt.zip (which is believed to be the first custom mission for X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter). The files can be found here, and are presented in a simple index. The files in the ZIP archives can be extracted using WinZip. The EXE files are self-extracting archives; I recommend saving to the desktop and running the file from there...the files will extract to the desktop. The .tie files found in the archives (with the aforementioned exceptions) can be played in TIE Fighter 95 (the Windows version found in the "X-Wing Collector's Series" and "X-Wing Trilogy" bundles) by replacing a stock mission with the custom mission...be sure to back up the stock mission first! Some of the archives contain a BAT (DOS batch file) for installation; as the batch file references DOS game paths, do not run the BAT files...you may open the BAT file in Notepad to determine the stock mission the custom mission was intended to replace, however.
