BongoBob
What about Unreal Tournament 3? Or Quake Wars? Plus everything else you can either play natively or through Wine/Cedega. Sure, we're not talking Oblivion (although it is possible with oldblivion) or Crysis here, but it is possible to game on linux. Hell, even emulators on Linux work great. And it isn't the OS' fault that there's not alot of native gaming support for it. On the contrary, it's the game companies that refuse to make it for anything other than Windows *goes back to WoWing it up on kubuntu through wine* Don't mean to turn this into a OS war thread. I dual boot so it's all good. I still wouldn't say that Vista is a shiney version of XP, more like a bloated resource hog version of XP.
