Recolouring a skin

I was wondering whether there's a fairly easy way to change the colour of a skin into something else? I'd like to do a red Twilek, but can't seem to be finding a way to do this in a proper (well-made) way. Any helpfull advice would be appreciated. I'm using Photoshop 7.

@ Hive, it may be better experimenting with your skinning design, improving it bit by bit as someone else could do all the work for you and then you won't see at as what you had initially envisiged. I always find in life if you want something specific doin', go right ahead and do it yourself!

Thanks, I think I found what I was looking for there. I'll try it out tomorrow.

Oh I think you misunderstood me; I wasn't asking for anyone to do it for me, but for pointers in the right direction so I could do it myself.
