Crashed during install Now I can't install or uninstall the partial installation.

Do you mean the kotor installer refuses to install?

 

I am guessing kotor refuses to install either because (1) there are already kotor files on the hard disk or because (2) there are already some kotor entries in the Windows registry.

You should probably delete the folder 'C:\Program Files\LucasArts\SWKotor' first and then try installing.

If kotor still cannot install, you could use a registry cleaning tool to remove registry entries belonging to kotor, and then try installing. I recommend 'ccleaner', since I have been using it for a while; it is completely freeware, no-nags. You can get ccleaner here:

When you run ccleaner, click on 'Registry', and then click 'Scan for issues'. See if it finds any kotor-related entries. If so, click 'Fix all issues' to remove them.

After that, try installing kotor again.
