deuxhero Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 when I'm falling in JA I tend to hold crouch to roll and not take falling damage (like in OoT), this gave me an idea, would it be posible to have OoT style impact rolling in OJP enchanced?
ensiform Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Usually rolling in JA nullifies damage anyway... Plus the fact that you can set dmflags 8 to not do falling damage at all.
SeLeXeL Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Since the recommended motion in OJP is to walk, I hardly do the rolls like I used to with base JKA games This is in terms of an evasive tactic. As a fall damage limiter, I think its ok as it is.
Darth Cariss Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Basically, this guy wants it so if you roll into a wall, your character bounces off and gets stunned for a moment before getting up again. Or atleast, that's what I gather.
deuxhero Posted December 19, 2007 Author Posted December 19, 2007 *rolls eyes* No, I mean how you can hold forward after jumping of an edge to not take falling damage (except for incredible hights that only exist in the valcano dungeon)
Alec{zacool} Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 But we have Force Fall for that? But what if the reason that you have jumped off, is because there is no way away from the enemy, and you have lost all your FP. But if you roll in JKA, it reduces damage anyways.
