asgeras
Sorry to bother you guys yet again, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me what rank I should be before the point of no return, in order to make sure I can reach 100. I couldn't find anything save for a single review that says it couldn't be more than 98, with six cards left. I'm currently at 97, have six cards, and have completed all the items in the various levels, and gathered everything in: kids cabin, sasha's lab, the sanctuary, the main lodge/parking lot, the wilderness, the lake, the gdc are, the outside of the insane asylum, the inside of the insane asylum, lower thorny towers, and upper thorny towers. If anybody could tell me I need to head to somewhere else, or tell me that the faq author was incorrect, that would be greatly appreciated. Toliver
Consult your journal. If you have everything (Psi-cards, Psi-cores, brains and Scavenger Hunt items) from the different areas of the camp and Asylum/tower, and you have every figment, baggage, cobweb and vault from each of the mind levels in the Collective Unconscious, then you're ready to pass the Point of No Return. I believe a rank of 97 is the correct number before passing that point. Just make sure when you get off the Roller Coaster rail in the Meat Circus level that you don't let the momentum carry you into the tent that's ahead of you. You won't be able to go back to the earlier part of the Meat Circus level if you do. When you slide off the rail, you want to stop and use the Teleport Creature to go back to the entrance of the first tent in the Meat Circus and cash in everything you've collected in that level. When you collect the final item (whether it's a figment, cobweb, vault or baggage), you should see a small congratulatory message stating that you've achieved a rank of 100 and there'll be a new movie to see in your journal. There is nothing to collect in the final tent.
martmeister
Wow, I've never gotten to 100. I think all those figments in Waterloo detoured me.
Toliver
Wow, I've never gotten to 100. I think all those figments in Waterloo detoured me. Waterloo's easy compared to Milla's Dancy Party. I have to go through the Race a minimum of three times in order to get all of the figments in it. As has been discussed elsewhere, you can also get a rank of 101 by completing the Coach's Punching game (you have to go do it at least 5 or 6 times, I think) in his level. You don't get anything special for getting 101 and frankly, the extra movie you get for reaching 100 doesn't make it all worth it.
martmeister
Besides, you can use "Psychonauts Explorer" and find it. Why not something useful like a triple-jump? I never had the patience to max the punching game, plus keyboard and mice don't work as well as a controller for that kind of movement.
