GavSalkeld Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 Ive already done my own complete Full Throttle score (and remastered the sound to make it less hissy). I now want to do a complete The Dig rip but I have two problems. Firstly, SCUMM Revisited won't play the music files. It says something about a codec error. I cannot decompress them to wave either. Secondly, I have no idea what each cue's proper name is. Can someone give me the proper track names for all the music in the game? Can anyone offer to help please?
silvah Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 Gav, The music is available here: http://dig.mixnmojo.com/downloads/index.html It was also made available as a Soundtrack on CD from Angel Records. It is tough to find, and pricey to get if you find it, but it is out there. _Mike
GavSalkeld Posted October 23, 2007 Author Posted October 23, 2007 Ive since being given a link to a program to help me do the rip, so thats good. Its just a case of now getting it to work and naming the tracks!
silvah Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 If you wouldn't mind, please pass along this link, I'd be interested in pulling the soundtrack from the game (different than the CD). Thanks! - Mike
GavSalkeld Posted October 23, 2007 Author Posted October 23, 2007 Do you wanna work together on this thing, help each other with track names and such? I could use the help, Mike.
Valkian Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Work not a minute longer, all you need is right here: http://soundtracks.mixnmojo.com/
GavSalkeld Posted January 31, 2008 Author Posted January 31, 2008 I want to do my own lossless version, thanks.
Valkian Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Well, that would be great if the original quality of the sound was a decent one. But it isn't. If I remember correctly the music is at 22 kHz 16 bits. Which is exactly half the quality of an audio cd. But hey, if you still want to have a little-less-loss version, then go for it.
GavSalkeld Posted January 31, 2008 Author Posted January 31, 2008 You're right about the quality, yeah. I just wanna be able to do my own rip if someone could help me out.
