Most assuradly, airline stocks are down already ...worldwide, not just America. There are analysts who predict a definate rescession, but there are others who say it will be minor to temporary ...we'll have to wait and see. Depression, though? ...well, I have been brought up believing that there are economic-safeguards in place to prevent depression. I have to have faith in that, because when the subject turns to those economic safeguards, my brain gets fuzzzy. I simply don't understand them. To answer the original question, though... I am watching as much news (domestic and foreign) as I can. No more seinfeld and Simpsons re-runs for me ...it's all news. Since I didn't know anyone killed by this attack, and I have no problem with the new security pre-cautions at the airports. I am effected very little. **In a purely selfish moment I say** "I still have my job". But the effects of this attack will not be fully felt for several months ...maybe years. Ask this question in a year's time ...the answer might be different.
