I'M ALIVE! ALIVE! ALIVE!!!!

My year has been **** and crap all over! Art school is the pits! PITS OF HELL! WITH RAVENOUS MURDEROUS PSYCHOPATHIC CLASSMATES THAT ARE ALL OUT TO DEVOUR YOUR GODDAMN BRAIN TO FEEEEED ON YOUR MUSE!

I **** you not, I was physically threatened with violence from a fellow guy classmate (I'm a girl, see how psychopathic he was?).

Which I dispelled by calling him a 'boy' and that if he had any brains, he'd know doing that in front of two other witnesses and the fact he obviously has a police record somewhere, would make any accusation I make to the police stick and he can kiss his degree goodbye.

I'm blackmailing him for my survival; plus the fact he can't draw for nuts makes him no threat to me from a career stand-point.

Yeah, it's dog eat dog. But in a bizarre way, this is a whole lot like Whispering Rocks right now (our campus is gorgeous and exclusive. Runs 24 hours with a hot sandwich vending machine and an always open graphics lab)

Meh, I've been ass all year round, I admit. I have made zilch friends in my class, which I'm actually fine with as it turns out (although it's something my family doesn't know, which makes it hard for me to plan what to do on my b'day. I think I'll go out with my primary school pals).

I have to upload my artwork. I'm SO proud of my clay sculpted tiger head bust (which weighs an amazing 3-5 kg), and I'm surprised at how well I can draw portraits.

Okay, now to make this legal for this forum: My computer broke when I hit the matador level (can't remember his name, I'm sorry). So I haven't completed Psychonauts yet. And I live in a hostel so I can't use my com, and I'm unsure exactly how well my new laptop can run it.

PS: And how have you guys been doing? Keeping the dream alive

My laptop seems pretty good, but it played Psy very buggy, so I nixed playing it in Cali this summer. A "wonderful" coffee accident w/my laptop so I don't know how long it has before death comes knockin on its door. I've maxed the memory, it burns dvd +r and -r (April 08 will make it 2 yrs), and I've made it MY laptop versus the crap that Compaq and Microsoft throw up there. My family did something other than go to a wedding this year in Cali, so I rarely touched the laptop.

My photography skills aren't half bad, but I don't fancy myself a photographer. Having a good digital camera helps big time.

My job pay's been changed from hourly to "per service call," which means potentially more money. I'm hoping my pay rate goes up.

My dvd/cd rack is almost full, I got more video games, and even received language-learning software (Mandarin Chinese); I'll got to the Mandarin, eventually.

I managed to lose my Swiss Army Knife at a job site; true that it was used mainly as a box cutter, but it was given to me as a gift (many years back) and a college friend even sharpened ALL the blades.

To be honest, I haven't played Psychonauts probably since July. Velvetopia (Edgar Tegley's brain level w/the bull) isn't too bad. As an art person, you might like it. I recommend doing it before Waterloo, just so you have an incentive to stay for all the figments.
