rictus135
I am trying to create new weapon types (essentially blue disrupters) in TSL. I hav edited the .2da by copying the appropriate line to a new row (#'s 109-112), and changed the "ammunitiontype" column to 2 (the blue blaster bolt). In the "name" column I just used "****". However I am unable to select this "Base Item" in the .uti. I did the same thing in K1 about a year ago, and I am pretty sure I followed the same process, but no longer have K1 installed to check. I was wondering, if Kotor Tool for Kotor2 doesn't allow new options to appear in the "Base Item" menu, and how could i set it as the base item using a different method. Ferc Kast
I think you would have to put a name other than **** for it to work. Other than that I don't see why it shouldn't work.
Darkkender
In order for them to appear in the dropdowns in KT the new 2da's must be in override and KT must be set to scan the override folder for new 2da files otherwise your gff editors won't find your new entries. Ohh riiight. Duh rictus. I had to reinstall Kotor Tool and completely forgot about that setting. Thanks Darkkender.
