Vladimir Berkov
I just reinstalled XWA after many years and noticed that for some reason I can never fly directly at the center of a planet or sun graphic. It is wierd, it is as if there is a "dead zone" or area pushing your ship and joystick away from flying directly in the direction. Is this a known bug or some problem with Windows XP? I don't remember this happening when I first played through XWA years ago.
Keyan Farlander
I have experienced something like that in other X-Wing games. I never associated it with a planet or sun graphic, though, but it's possible. It's like you're trying to aim at something and it just doesn't let you. VPR
I've noticed this as well outside of the original DOS X-wing and Tie Fighter versions. I was on Windows 98 then so it could be just an issue with XP as Keyan mentioned above as I'm pretty sure it never happened when I was playing on Windows 98. K_Kinnison
This has to do with the game engine. It does not all your to stay on the "zero" points on any of the 3 Axis. Slightly off, but never on.
