PadawanGirl
I'm doing dark side and crashing at the unknown planet, right after I get out of the temple with Bastila. As soon as Carth and Mission run off, and Bastila says to forget him, the game freezes and I get that lovely 'Game has shut down unexpectedly, do you want to send an error report' screen Like this: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=5vdd3p&s=3 My system's stats: Name=WinXP Version=Windows XP v5.1 build 2600 Service Pack 2 Service Pack=Service Pack 2 Status=Pass [swapFiles] C:\pagefile.sys=768 [CPU] CPUCount=1 CPUSpeed=2651 CPUFamily=15 CPUModel=2 CPUStepping=7 CPUVendor=Intel CPUName= Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 2.66GHz Status=Pass [Memory] RAM=512 Status=Pass [Disk Free Space] C: (NTFS), UNICODE=273.98GB E: (NTFS), UNICODE=449.22GB Status=Pass [CD-ROMs] DriveLetters=D:\ Drives=PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-112D [Video] Video Card Name=RADEON 9500 PRO / 9700 Video Memory=256 Desktop Resolution=1024x768x32 @ 60Hz DirectX=DirectX (9.0+) (4.09.00.0904) OpenGL Version=2.1.7275 Release OpenGL Vendor=ATI Technologies Inc. Any thoughts? PLEASE help me! I can see that you're viewing this thread, but why aren't you helping me??? This isn't Bioware tech support--people might view the thread but not know how to help you and that could be why you haven't received a response. You're getting a warning status on your video card. That may or may not be the problem. Try turning down the game resolution and graphics settings to their lowest levels and see if that helps. See the ATI sticky also. While it's geared to TSL, there may be some tips you can use that will help with Kotor, too. Please review the 'Read this first before posting' sticky to see if some of the tips mentioned there can also help.
